Williamson – Mahler.
Mr. Roy E. Williamson of Farmington, Iowa, and Miss Katherine Mahler of Bonaparte, Iowa, were married at the Catholic parsonage at Farmington on Tuesday at 8 A. M. by Rev. Father Ryan. Miss Anna Mahler a sister of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Williamson were the only guests present at the ceremony.
Mrs. Williamson was educated in the Bonaparte schools and since that time has been a successful teach in the public schools of Van Buren and Poweshiek Co’s., she is also an accomplished musician having taken music in the Conservatory of Grinnell. She is the daughter of Mrs. Rosina Mahler of Harrisburg township, and is certainly a most estimable young lady, one who makes friends and keeps them. Mr. Williamson is indeed to be congratulated.
Mr. Williamson is the only son of Rev. and Mrs. A. L. Williamson of Farmington, Iowa, and is a highly respected young man of sterling qualities.
After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Williamson will be at home on a farm north of Farmington which the groom has recently purchased.
