Quit Claim deed

Know all men by these Presents: That we Samuel Chapman Jr. and Charlotte Chapman his wife of Van Buren County. State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars, to us in hand paid by Sarah J. Hamlin of Van Buren County State of Iowa. do hereby sell and Quit Claim unto the said Sarah J Hamlin. and to his [sic] heirs and assigns forever all of our right title and interest, both at law and in equity of, in and to the following described premises to wit:

Commencing at the North East corner of the North West quarter (1/4) of Section five (5) T.p. sixty eight (68) Range Eight (8) West, Thence west on the North line of said quarter section, Thirtyone (31) perches + 13 links to a post, Thence south Seventy five (75) perches + (19) links, to a post, thence East Thirty-one (31) perches + (13) links to a post on the East side of said quarter section, Thence North on the East line of said quarter section Seventy five (75) perches, + 14 links to the place of beginning. Containing fourteen + 90/100 acres

Also Five acres off of the North End of the West side of the West half of the West half of the North East quarter (1/4) of Section five in said Township sixty Eight (68) and also four (4) acres out of twenty acres described as follows: off of the west side of the West half of the West half of the North East quarter of section Five, in the above mentioned Township - Lying North of Eleven (11) acres on the North East end of the twenty acres described. All said land lying and being in Section Five (5) Township sixty eight (68) Range eight (8) West. With all and singular toe hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging. Signed this __ day of April A. D. 1891.
