At Chicago, Yhursday, March 12. Mr. W. E. Davis of Keosauqua and Miss Laura J. Smith of Morris, Ill.

Mr. Davis is the junior member of the firm of Davis and Son, and is well known as an honorable and successful business man. The bride is a sister of the writer hereof and some time since was a member of the Democrat family for a year or more. The Democrat hopes their journey of life may be long and unruffled and strewn with happy incidents and pleasant memories.
