BONAPARTE - The 56th annual Commencement Exercises of the Bonaparte high school will be held in the school auditorium on Thursday night.
Eighteen graduates will receive their diplomas: Dean Brown Burns, Willard J. Cocherell, John Woodruff Coleman, George Warren Eden, Jean Luntzs Gressley, Patricia Norene Hamlin, Joanna Matilda Henrichsen, LaVerne Helen Klingler, Herman A. Lydolph, Ervin Earl McCracken, Norval Kenneth Mosher, Emma Mae Muntz, Juania Inez Price, Stanley Lamar Randolph, Elizabeth Anne Simmons, Keith E. Vickers, Hilma Maxine Watkins and Mary Jeanne Willits.

(Jean Gressley was the salutatorian. Mary Jeanne Willits was the valedictorian. Robert Hamlin was school board president.)
