Schaad 59th Wedding Anniversary

Christian Schaad - Mr. and Mrs. Christian Schaad celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on Sunday, March 5. He is 88 and his wife 18 (this must be wrong, probably 78 or 88). Parents of 6 children: Albert of Chelsea, OK; Mrs. G. D. Finney of Selma, CA; Dena and Lillie at home; and Mrs. George Neu of Farmington. There are nine grandchildren. They were married at Quincy, IL and lived in the White Oak district until 1917 when they moved to Farmington, IA. Mr. Schaad was born in Switzerland and came to US when a young man. Mrs. Schadd was born in Germany and came to the US in her teens. (No date of year for this event.) He died 1937. F-Green Glade Cemetery, Farmington.
