ORTHOPEDIC NURSE

Miss Bernadine [sic] Forbes, daughter of Mrs. Ella Forbes Bales, graduated from the School of Nursing of the Los Angeles County General hospital on July 12. Successfully passing the California state board examination, she will continue her work in the orthopedic department of this institution, which is the largest public institution of its kind in the world. The normal bed capacity it [sic] 4355, but in an emergency may be 5160.

Miss Forbes is a sister of Mont Forbes who recently received his Master’s degree in science and education at the University of Southern California.
