The following clipping was received from a California paper of the marriage of Miss Dorothy Forbes, who moved from here a short time ago to California with her mother, Mrs. Ella Forbes Bales:

The marriage of Miss Dorothy Forbes and Mr. Ben Bolt last Saturday, at Riverside, came as a surprise to all but a few intimate friends. The ceremony was performed at 8 p.m. by Rev. Gillian, at the Methodist parsonage. In the bridal party were Mr. Mont Forbes, brother of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Crawford, Mr. Willard Stevens, Mr. Harry Ely and the Misses Bernice Graham, Pearl Sayer and Ruth Fuller.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. J. S. Bales of East College street, and a graduate in the 1925 class of the Covina high school. The groom has been employed on the Chapman ranch for the past three years, both having many friends in this community.

Mr. and Mrs. Bolt will reside at 205 West Badillo street for a short time, until a home on the Chapman ranch is prepared for them.
