Geo. M. Detwiler To Henry Coolidge
For the consideration of five hundred dollars, we George M. Detwiler and Catharine A. Detwiler, his wife, do hereby sell and convey to Henry Coolidge the following tract of land to wit it being:
The south half of the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of section four (4) township sixty eight (68) range eight (8) west except two and a half acres of the west end containing seventeen and a half acres more less.
In the County of Van Buren and State of Iowa and we the said Geo. M. Detwiler and Catharine A. Detwiler warrant the title against all persons whomsoever.
In witness whereof we have hereunto signed our names this 4th day of Dec. eighteen hundred and sixty five.

Be it remembered that on this fourth day of December A.D. 1865 before me A. H. Leach, Justice of the Peace in and for said county, personally appeared Geo. M. Detwiler and Catharine A. Detwiler, his wife, who are personally known to me to be the identical persons whose names are affixed to the above deed as grantors and acknowledge the same to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein written.
