For my relatives and descendants---
I was born in the 1950s at Keosauqua Iowa. My Grandmother was Della Slutz- Stilwell/ --Grandfather Wm. Roscoe Stilwell( the former 4 star General of WWII was his relative and visited Douds Iowa in the early 1950s),- My Grandma's 2nd hubby was George S. Hill of Selma/Douds.
My Grt Grandparents were Samuel and Martha B. Crane-Slutz/s of Douds IA. She told me, when I was a child, that the famous author Stephen Crane was her cousin.
I went sometimes to Douds Elem.. Graduated from High school in Ohio. Graduated with a Bachelor's in Social Work and a Master's Degree in Education from Wright State Ohio. I teach Special Education in Ohio schools. I am also, a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio.

Previously did walkway modeling in Dayton OH. Specialized in modeling wedding gowns, veils and bouquets for weddings. Also, was chosen from the audience to be the lead role, in the Universal Studios of Los Angeles CA. play, in the 1980s, at the Universal Studios Park. Also, had my portrait presented in the former Faces International Magazine, based in L.A. California, in the 1980s. This magzine went all around the world, for talent agents and others to see models' faces.
I visited Turin / Torino Italy with my husband in the 1990s. I did not know it at the time, but that is the land of my ancestors. No wonder I felt so much at home there.
Thus, I have enjoyed life and highly believe as my Grt Granny Martha Crane-Slutz/s and and her daughter -Della Stilwell-Hill always said- "you can do anything you put your mind to." That is the pioneer philosophy of all of our ancestors.

Today I am the mother of 4- Scott and Ginger Hoelscher, Jannel and Mollie Moniaci and the Grandmother of 2- Damien and Peyton Jones
( Ginger's children). I also am the adopted mother of 2 dogs--- A Shuenizer mix, Jack, and a small black Scottish Terrier -- Barney Cha-Cha.

I enjoy visiting there and elsewhere in Iowa each year.I hope to be buried back there, in my beautiful homeland --of Van Buren County, Iowa. Until then God Bless all!!! Della
