Am searching for any information on Michael Kennefick while he was in Iowa. He was born November 30, 1842 in Cork, Ireland. He joined the 8TH Iowa Cavalry in Lansing, Iowa. I have no information on him while in Iowa. He mustered out of the Calavry in Georgia and married then moved to New York where he died in 1886. Any information anyone could give me on him or his family while in Iowa would be wonderful.
