Help me find my Gear

I am looking for ANY information in other area other then STORY COUNTY for a Gordon F. Gear. He was born in Vermont 1852 or 1854. He ended up somewhere in Iowa and in 1876 he married a Lovina Banning (according to 1876 marriage index) and he was widowed by 1895( according to 1895 stry co census).I do know if he came to Iowa with his parents and would lke to fid out as I cannot find them anywhere.Their names are John Gear and Sarah Magenaty ( I think). Gordon and Lovina's children where born in Iowa and Nebraska. those born in Iowa are; Alta,Walter,Nellie,;those born in NE are Minnie,George and Charles.

Alta,Minnie,Walter,Nellie,George, and Charlie
As I was looking thru someones file, I noticed that they have the same gordon Gear but married to a Lovina FORYTH. Can anyone hel find this? with Alta being the child of them. The records I have have Alta being born to Gordon andLovina Gear (Banning)in 1877 in Story county Iowa.If anyone can help me with this I would be ever so thankful !thanks in advance !
