Louis, Normally I would ask "Born where in 1892/93? And do you have him on a later census indicating his parental nativities?" But in this case, wouldn't have done any good. Here are my findings based on the limited information you had to post. Gilroy family in 1895 Guthrie co, Ia. Edward 43, Canada. Louisa 36, Il. Mary 17, Il. James 13, Il. Edward 1, born Guthrie co.This family appears to be in Prince George co, Maryland in 1900 as follows. Edward Gilroy 43 Maryland (not canada) Louise/Louisa 40, Il. James 18, Il, Edward L. 6 Ia. ** the wife is indexed as Laurie on Ancestry but it looks more like Louisa/Louise to me. In 1900 they are indicated as married 23 yrs and the wife is indicated as having borne 3 children, 2 still living. Dick
