If you haven't already, you may want to look in Clark County, IN for earlier relatives. The McGuire, CARR, and WOODS names pop up in a number of places but I've never been able to connect them all except for the will of Robert George and one of Francis McGuire (buried in Silver Creek Cemetery of same county). A township in the county is named Carr and James Noble Woods ran a ferry nearby on the Ohio.

Just a thought.
