I am looking for information on my great grandfather, Berend Borgers. What I do have is that he immigrated to the U.S. in October 1892 (found on ellisisland.org) with his wife, Hermina van Beek and their five children enroute to the Alton, Iowa area. I already have information on his wife and children, but am looking for when and where he passed away. I THINK he possibly passed away about 1894, around Alton, but am not sure. He was born about 1857 in the Netherlands
