Larson's from Norway

My g great grandfather Lars Larson from Norway settled somwhere in Iowa and founded and named the town he lived in. I believe they lived on the western side close to the border. the time period could have been between 1830 to 1850 he had 5 children that I know of. Anna Serena(my great Grandma) born in 1866 in Iowa. she married Iver B Peterson around 1885 other children of Lars, were Tom and Belle (twins)
and Oliver and Holiver(twins). I am unable to find any info on where they may have lived. If anyone has any info please contact me. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you
