John Meyers, a Doctor

I cannot find John H Myers in either 1850 or 1860 census despite tons of looking.

I thought he should be in Illinois in 1850 and in Iowa in 1860. I have a picture that says Virden Illinois that is supposed to be taken in 1866. He went to San Francisco about 1868.

Could people please look out for him? If someone finds him I promise I will find something substantial for them , If I can. Anyway I promise to spend a few days looking at my local libraries and my online subscriptions!

John Myers should appear in 1860 as
