L. M.Fevold, Iowa , Norway emigration lists, 1850-1860

I am looking for information about L. M. Fevold who was listed on the Digitalarkivet emigrant sheet for a Norwegian family named Thompson who sailed from Stavanger. I don't know what the connection was. My husband's g-g-grandfather was Thomas Thompson who settled & died near Badger, Badger twp., Webster County, Iowa. He was born in abt. 1833, came from Norway in 1857, married Christina Mitchell in 1860, served in the Civil War & farmed in Livingston Co., Illinois until about 1891. By then, the couple had 2 sons, Owen & Mitchell. The whole family, including Owen's wife Delia Gord, & their children, moved to Webster Co., Iowa. I am unable to locate Thomas Thompson in Norway. He had another name, I guess. I'm hoping that finding this L.M. Fevold will help solve my mystery.
