Only find 1 exact spelling Gish in 1850 Ia, & Elizabeth is not in the household. Il. on-line marriage index has marr. of James Silcox/Elizabeth C. Gish on 1/18/1857 in Morgan co, Il. Might try getting her parents names from the document. James & Elizabeth Silcox are on the 1860 Cass co. Il. census. Elizabeth is indicated as born Il. Dick
