Now know that birth mother, Mary J. Brooks, was born 1861 in Delaware, Iowa. Her children Anna Mary Brooks, born April, 1895 and Frank Brooks, born @ 1899-1900 in Iowa, were left at the Children's home around 1900-1901?, and both were eventually adopted. Anna adopted by Newman family; Frank adopted by Fann family. I am seeking information about circumstances that contributed to mother giving up her children for adoption, and other relevant "secrets".
