Lincoln township is in Appanoose County, IA, which borders, Putnam county in Missouri.

Iowa 1925 census also shows an Emmet M(onroe) Howe, son of James Howe, and Ema Car, all b. in Missouri, Emmett, b. about 1892-1895.

Unable to find Emmet or Essie living with parents in Iowa or Missouri on census. In 1910, Emmett is alone in Putnam County, MO

I did find mention of a Howe School in Appanoose County, and Emmett Monroe Howe was living in Centerville, Iowa when he entered military service.

In 1930 there was a younger brother James A Glor, age 4y 5 mo. The family was in Udell township, Appanoose County.

Essie appears as Effie Glor on 1915 Iowa Census.
