Edwin was living in Marshal County on the 1920 and 1930 census. His parents were August, b. about 1877 in Sweden, who had came to the US 1897, and was naturalized in 1903. His mother and siblings were all born in Illinois. His youngest sister Blanch was born there about 1914.
On the 1925 Iowa State Census, his mother Clara, and sister Blanch had moved to Hardin County.
Clara was the daughter of Ahl Nordgren, b. Sweden and Bertha Lindberg, b. Sweden who were married in Illinos.
Blanch was the daughter of Aug Ahl, 49, b. Sweden and Clara Nordgren, b. Sweden who were married in Illinois.Aug Ahl's naturalization on March 21, 1903 in Bureau County, IL, lists his full name as Thure Aug Ahl, An earlier document from 1899 lists his name as Thure August Ahl.
