Am looking for any information on my great-grandfather, Samuel A. Hughes. I believe he was born in IA, but do not know where. The DOB I have is ca. 1868. His wife was named/called Nellie, last name unknown. At some point in time, he ended up in OK, as a daughter, my grandmother Fannie Lea Hughes, was born in "Indian Territory" in 1894. The date of death I have on him is in 1949. This is the only information I have on him, and am hoping someone may be able to shed some light, and help me. Thanks very much.
