Trying to locate any information on Jay Clifford Springer believed to be born July 18 1883-1889 Des Moines, Iowa. Died April 22, 1960 Ontario, Canada. Lists parents, as William Springer and Martha Olive (Mattie) McLaughlin (1864) Believe parents are David McLaughlin and Mercy E.. Married December 25, 1881 Guthrie Co. Iowa. Claimed to be Pennsylvania Dutch. Lists heritage as German and Scottish.
Not sure when arrived in Canada but know he is in Hardy Saskatchewan in 1926 and in Owen Sound Ontario 1929. 1926 in Radville Saskatchewan marries Grace (Gracie) McCartney born 1903.
