I am trying to track my mother's family back to the Netherlands. My mother was Georgiana Plender. Her father was John Plender, and his father was Lammert Plender. They all lived in Orange City, Iowa. Lammert was married to Greitje Brummel. I just today found a reference in a census record that Lammert's father was John Plender and his mother was Qutin Flice. Since the Brummels were from Doornspijk, Gelderland, Netherlands, perhaps the Plenders were from there also. Can you help me?
