Good morning Shirlene, I think you have more data than you indicate and if you must name a town, it's best to include the county. Primary census indexes are by state & co. A town name is not always relevant. And regardless of how much or little info you do have, find your families on all avail. census records first. It gives you more data to work with. The 1885 Ia state census for Waterloo, Black Hawk co. has Jennie as the head of household along with Mark L. & Agnes M. All three are indicated as born Dubuque co. The 1880 which is free on-line at www.familysearch.org has G.E. & Sarah Spencer with the offspring in Peosta, Vernon twp, Dubuque co. Dick
