1930 census puts the marriage of Bryron and Alice about 1925. They were living in Iowa County, Iowa at that time. Alice' parents were born in Sweden. Alice is listed as age 44 in 1930, putting her birth by that record as about 1886.

Byron Bruce Border, was b. Jun 9, 1876 according to his WWI draft registration. Tall, slender, blue eyes, black hair.

Perhaps the Bell parent name is a mistake. If so, this might be her 1900 census

Simon Holm is listed as a teamster in Rock Island 1888-1892 directory. Rock Island 1895 directory lists Simon P Holm as died May 29, 1894, Johanna is still living there.
