He may be Clarence Harlan.
On 1930 census, he was age 67, 1st married age 26, b. MN to OH father, NY mother, newspaper reporter
Wife was Addie C, also age 67, 1st married age 26, b. IA to NY parents

On 1920 census, this was Clarence L Harlan, they had a daughter Marian, age 2. He was a milk dealer in1920.

In 1910, Mother-in-law Adaline R Church was living with them. Marian was only living child of the couple. Then Clarence was a Sunday school Missionary.

Not sure if this is the right one, maybe the daughter's name will tell you.
