MILLER, JOHANSAN, JOHNSON

I'm looking for information for John A. Miller who lived in Iowa in the mid 1870s. He and his wife Josephean(or Josephine) were both born in Sweden and had 2 sons born in Iowa, then moved to Kansas sometime before the 1880 Census was taken. The sons are: John(1874) and Manfred(1876). I'm having great difficulty finding any information for John A. Miller. There is an old family story that he changed his name from Johnson or Johanson(sp?) after immigrating to the US, so I've listed those names as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
