Rinnert families.. Ohio/Il/ In, Germany

I am off the Rinnert line that comes from Buchelberg, Germany 1690 (west bank of the middle Rhine River). In 1798 Peter Rinnert was born to this line and came to America about 1832.In 1833 his son John Rinnert was born in Ohio, but I cannot find the town. The family moved to Fulda, Indiana, had two more children. Recorded births at St.Boniface Church there.
Was there a Peter Rinnert on the Iowa census at sometime? One line of the Rinnert family have their surnames spelled Rennirt in Ky area.
