On Friday, January 3,2003 my husband and I stopped in Counsel Bluffs, Iowa to spend the night on our way home to North Dakota. We had just finished cleaning out my mom's house of 45 years of collecting and was pulling a U-Haul trailer back with items. The trailer was broken into and a couple of boxes were taken. One of the boxes contained some old papers on my grandparents and great grandparents. The papers included a marriage certificate for Ida GLAUSER and Curt J. LEHMANN married in St. Louis and also their divorce papers from St. Louis. One paper was on my great grandfather, Alfred GLAUSER and was in German along with a birth fraktur on my great grandmother, Maria Louise FELBER. Another paper was a 2-paged mimeographed letter from Alfred GLAUSER to a lawyer concerning a probate case on a relative of my great grandmother, Maria Louise FELBER concerning an inheritance for her children. There were two other papers that were quite colorful and possibly were frakturs also. The border on the papers were like 1 inch squares in color and the writing was in the center and was German. There were also a couple of telegrams from Curt to Mom. If anyone has any knowledge of these papers, PLEASE contact me.
