Dear Tim,

Yes, I am the LELLE/HORNUNG/FAUL contact. I had known that your grandmother, Betty Jane Hicks had died but not when. She and your granddad, Harold, were wonderful people when I came visiting, as were all the Family in Warren & South Wayne. I am sorry to have lost touch with them. And, Yes, I have lots more to add to the Family line.

How is Tara? She was born the same day and year as my youngest, Anne-Marie. Anne-Marie is married with two children, Brianna Marie, age 4, and Landon Cole, age 2. We babysit for them twice a week. Brianna is quite the little lady and Landon, at age two, is already over three feet tall! What a handful!

I have gotten the Faul line back to Ebert/Eberhard Faul, (1616 - 15 Jan 1687, Pirmasens). The Lelle Family is somewhat harder to trace although I have them back a fair amount also. The Hornung Family come into the picture with the Zimmermann/carpenter in the Grenadiers. I think that you may have those people. I have a copy of a book on the Grenadiers that shows the uniform that the Grenadier zimmermann would have worn, ax and all.

It is good to hear from you, regards to your family. You also have an older brother, Todd Richard, and lots of cousins. There are literly thousands of descendents of Ebert Faul in the U.S. Descendents started coming to this country in 1738 with a Brotzmann Family and several Kettenrings. Some of them changed their name to Catron and any spelling of same. There are people in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, California, Washington State, Texas, you name it, descendents are there!

Fred and I have the seven children, 14 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. We celebrated our 50th wedding this last August.

Regards,

Dorothea M. Saavedra
