Based on the 1880 location for Richard, he seems to connect to the family of Michael and Susan Dust, as they were in Iowa in 1850, and moved to Clark County, MO, by 1860, where Richard appears in 1880. However, Michael and Susan would have been age 54 in 1852, kind of old to have been Richard's parents. Some online trees name Richard as Andrew Richard, the son of Michael and Susan born 1842. They have him married to Mary Elizabeth Bridget, b. about 1855 in Ohio.

in 1880, Richard and Elizabeth are next door to William and Sarah Bridget, who are likely Elizabeth's parents.
