Index to 1870 Iowa Census?

I am a novice when it comes to Iowa research, so my question probably will cause many of you to roll your eyes. But, is there an index to the 1870 Iowa census?

I believe that in 1870, the newly-widowed Louisa/Lovina SPRINKLE was living in Iowa with her children: Melissa HAWKINS & Phebe, Mary Alice & John SPRINKLE. By 1880, she was back in IL, but the family tradition is that the family was in Iowa in 1870.

I subscribe to the online census images. . . but I'm at a loss to know where in Iowa she lived, so am hoping there is an index.
