My husband's uncle, around 18 years of age left Kansas to go to ? in Iowa around 1881 to 1884 where I have a death paper from the funeral home which said his last redidence was Iowa but no town. He died of Tyhoid fever and was buried in his hometown in Kansas. I did find census up to 1880 inclusive
Does anyone have any idea in that year span where they would cross from Atchison,Kansas into Iowa area.
