Looking for Theodosia French b abt 1823 somewhere in Iowa, she maried a Joseph Gilbert,he also b somewhere in Iowa. about 1870 they later moved to Lebanon,Kansas. This is my brick wall, I sure would appreciate any help in finding Thepodosias(Dosey?) family, Josephs too.
Her family may have come from NJ and settled in Iowa.
