LYDY, CLARK, LANGFORD, GOODWIN

I am searching for any record of a marriage between James M. Lydy and Sarah E. Clark. On the bible record, it gives the date of 17 Oct 1877, however the 77 is in a different ink and the handwriting does not match the rest of the record. With a magnifying glass the date appears to be 1883. The bible record also states that the marriage took place at the J. Stafford residence with Mr Stafford and his wife, along with Nellie Ginther as witnesses. Ralph Dewey J.P. was the the one who performed the ceremony. Any help in solving this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
