KIRKPATRICK, CROCK, BOBST, PLATNER

I am doing research on these familys, in particular the lines of:
John Crock, born in 1813 in Germany, I belive his son Joseph, born 1842 came to Iowa

Christopher Platner born in 1792 in New York City, he is buried in Lisbon, IA,

John Kirkpatrick, born in 1784 in Ireland, I belive his son James Kirkpatrick, born in 1827 in Pennsylvannia came to Iowa.

PhillipJacob Bobst, born in 1865 in Ohio, He came to Iowa at some point and is buried in Martelle, IA.

I have a lot of information that is fragmented and I would to be able to put some of it together, so any information on any of these surnames would be great.
