I am searching for any information on my great-great grandfather, Thomas Edward Cox. He was known by his middle name of Edward. The only lead that I currently have is that he was born in Iowa (birth certification of his two sons) and that he was born in about 1856 or 1857 (he was listed as being 40 years old at his death on April 6, 1897). He came to DeSoto, Jefferson Co., Missouri, some time before he married my great-great grandmother, Abbie Louisa PRENTISS, on December 23, 1885. Please contact me if you are "missing" a Thomas Edward COX from Iowa. Thanks!
