I'm looking for Winifred Bell. Nothing is known about her or her parents other than, Winifred was born in Iowa around 1870/1871. Her father (name unknown) was born in Iowa her mother (name unknown) was born in Ohio. Winifred was Quaker? and married Ira Harry Mettler (he was born in Kansas). I don't know when they married or where. They had two children Isabel Evelyn Mettler (born 1903) and Harry Mettler (born 1907). Winifred was also apparantly a nurse. Any help would be much appreciated as I am having a very difficult time working on my Mother' family history. If it would help any, Ira Mettler was an optician? and they are listed in Chicago, Ill in 1920. Which is where Isabel Mettler met and married Charles Thomas Bishop.
