Cornine family in Iowa, 1838/39/40

CORNINE, CANINE, CARNINE, OR ANY SPELLING OF CORNINE

On an 1850 census record of GGGrandparents Cornelius Cornine and Delilah Jane Cornine, we find place of birth of some children stated as Iowa, between 1838 and 1840. We have Cornelius and his first wife in TN in 1830 through 1838 by TN Tax List records and census records. Also have them in 1840 and 1850 census in Missouri, so there is a very short window of time that they may have been in Iowa. First wife died before Dec 1845. She could have died in Iowa, we just don't know.

Is anyone researching this surname and might have data that would fit this time frame?
