My Great-Grandmother, Anna Katherine Cordes Arndt's death record from Missouri stated she was born in Iowa.

Anna was the daughter of Claus Henry Cordes and Johanna Ottelie Neitzel. She was born on August 13, 1885.

The Cordes later moved to Minnesota towards the mid to late 1890s.

Any ideas on how to locate her birth town.?

Both of her parents came over from Germany.
