Pat died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home. She was 76.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 23 at the Word of Life Family Church near Winterset with burial to follow in the Lorimor Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 22 at Ochiltree Funeral Service, where her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Pat Stephens' Memorial Fund to be later designated by the family. Condolences may be left for the family at www.ochiltree.com.

She is survived by six children, Rusty Stephens of Lorimor, Todd Stephens of Urbandale; Cindy Mitchell of Afton; Margaret Johnson of Centerville; Mark Stephens of Indianola; Brenden Stephens of Urbandale; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her sister, Sharon King of Treynor and several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; a son, Randy Stephens and a granddaughter, Kelsie Stephens.

Patricia "Pat" Stephens, 76, of Lorimor, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 23 at the Word of Life Family Church near Winterset with burial to follow in the Lorimor Cemetery. Patricia Lou Orwan was born August 13, 1936 in Lorimor, Iowa to William and Maxine (Detty) Orwan. She graduated from Lorimor High School and later married Larry Miles Stephens on October 3, 1954.

Pat was an artist and owned her business, Praise Paintings. She was also a homemaker and farm wife helping to raise her children and manage the family farm. She was a member of the Word of Life Christian Center. She enjoyed volunteering and being involved in many organizations, but her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great grandchild.

She is survived by six children, Rusty (Mary Beth) Stephens of Lorimor, Todd (Dawn) Stephens of Urbandale; Cindy Mitchell of Afton; Margaret (Randy) Johnson of Centerville; Mark (Sandra) Stephens of Indianola; Brenden (Carrie) Stephens of Urbandale; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her sister, Sharon (George) King of Treynor and several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
