Harold Harne

Services for Harold Harne, 74, of 1802 Searle St., who died of cancer Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in highland Memory gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Harne was born in Creston and lived in Des Moines since 1933. He was a retired glazier of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Industries. He was a member of the East Gate Masonic Lodge, the Easton Place United Methodist Church, the Glaziers Union and Parents With-out Partners.

Survivors include two sons, Warren E. and James M. of Des Moines; three sisters, Mabel Lewis of Perham, Minn., and Anna Love of Creston and Rae Stull of Sterling, Colo; a brother, Harvey of Rock Island, Ill.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Iowa.
