Billy Wayne Moore, age 75 of Broken Bow, NE. passed away November 13, 2005 at his home.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Morgan
Cemetery, south of Kent, IA.
Memorials are suggested to the Assembly of God Church at Broken Bow, NE.
Billy was born June 8, 1930 at Grinnell, IA to Raymond and Marie (Bartlett) Moore.
He attended school at Scarsboro, IA.
Billy entered the United States Army in 1952 and served until 1953.
He was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Allen, November 8, 1953. In 1969 Billy
and Mary moved to Kent, IA. In 1977 they moved to Missouri. In 1982 they moved to
Arthur, NE. finally in 1994 they moved to Custer County where they have spent the last
twelve years. At the time of his death he was working as a ranch hand south of Broken
Bow.
Billy was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Broken Bow, NE.
Billy enjoyed breaking and driving horses.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, Broken Bow, NE.; four sons Daryl (Susan), Clarinda,
IA; Thomas (Lurae), Lenox, IA; Lyle (Lee Ann) Lewistown, MT.; and Robert, Big Piney,
WY Eleven grandchildren, Christie Breach, Korrie Copenhaver, Karen Moore, Laura
Moore, LeRoy Moore, Trisha Hill, Justin Moore, Robin Moore, Dillon Moore, Wyatt
Moore and Jamie Jo Moore; 1 step-grandchild, Megan and 3 great grandchildren,
Trey Hill, Venessa Hill and Justin Copenhaver.
