She had numerous other hobbies to enjoy, including listening to music, gardening, sewing and spending time with the many pets she had over the years. Lois also had two famous phrases that she often shared with both family and friends, including "I Love You," and "Take It Easy."

Lois is survived by her four children, Mary McCants of Buffalo, Iowa, Clara (Roger) Prachar of Davenport, Iowa, Tim Pellin of Buffalo, Iowa and Donald Pellin of Bettendorf, Iowa; four grandchildren, James McCants of Buffalo, Raymond McCants of Davenport, Lorena McCants of Rock Island, Illinois and Deanna (Jeremy) Dahlstrom of Davenport, Iowa; and a special niece who helped with her care, Mary Pellin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Pellin; and seven brothers, Wayne, Howard, Dale, Donald, Robert, Richard, and Glen Ritter.
