Mrs. Blayney Died Today

Mrs. C. W. Blayney, long-time resident of Creston, died at 12:40 this noon at her home, 804 West Adams street, after an illness of more than a year. Mrs. Blayney fell and broke her hip about a month ago, and since that time has been in failing health.

Emma Lane was born at Biroqua, Wis., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Adam Lane. She spent her young girlhood in Wisconsin, coming to Iowa with her parents who settled near Lenox.

She married C. W. Blayney, April 3, 1887, at Clearfield and since that time has lived in Creston. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. George Gault and her two grandchildren Joan and Jimmie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the home with the Rev. John Neuenschwander officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery
