Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, for Bertha Marie Bradley, 92, at St. Patrick's Church in Lenox. Mary Halligan was soloist, singing "In the Garden." Casket bearers were Danny, David and Roger Reed, H. Brown, Richard Reason and Larry Bradley, Jr. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery at Creston.
The daughter of Frederick and Marie Rosenthal Kruger, Bertha Marie was born Jan. 17, 1888 at Creston, Iowa. In May of 1909 she was married to Emmett Bradley at Creston. They were parents of eight children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandson, her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
She leaves four sons, Larry Bradley of Lenox, Robert of Montclair, Calif., Bernard of Jeffers, Minn., and Felix of Spokane, Wash.; also four daughters, Lucille Reason of Lenox, Theresa Wheeler, Ruth Ruberit and Virginia Rembold, all of Renton, Wash.; one sister, Edna Grant of Lenox; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
