Wurster, Catherine -
Catherine Wurster died July 29, 1973 at Rosary hospital in Corning, Iowa after a short illness.
She was born on a farm southwest of Lenox January 1, 1896 and moved to Creston with her parents and twin sister, Mary, in 1913. She lived in Creston until April, 1972 when she and her sister moved to the Lenox Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gottleob Wurster, and her brother, Charles Wurster.
Survivors are two nieces, June Travis and Alice Payton of Colville, Wash., and a nephew, Ronald Wurster of Lenox.
Services were held August 1, 1973 at Bender funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Newbrough in change.
Pallbearers were Frank Stanger, Raymond Dill, Leland Wurster, Russell Wurster, Clyde Belding and Melvin Williams.
Music was furnished by Carole Stanger and Elaine Wurster.
Burial was at Graceland cemetery in Creston.
