Wurster, Mary -
Miss Mary Wuriter, 76, a former Lenox resident, died Monday at the Lenox Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of Gottlob and Catherine Wurster and was born January 1, 1898 on a farm southwest of Lenox. She moved to Creston in 1913 and
lived there until April, 1972, when she moved to the nursing home with her twin sister, Katharine.
In addition to her sister she is survived by two nieces, June Travis and Alice Payton, both of Colville, Washington, and a nephew, Ronald Wurster of Lenox, also one cousin, Carrie
Roots of Anita, Iowa.
She was preceded ha death by her parents and a brother, Charles Wurster.
Funeral services were held at the Bender Funeral Home in Lenox Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm with Rev. Floyd Newbrough, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating.
Music was furnished by Dianna Stoner, Carole Stanger and Marcia Bender.
Bearer were Fred Woolley, Marion Travis, Clyde Belding, Leland Wurster, Russell Wurster and Bernard Weckman.
Burial was in Graceland cemetery, Creston, Iowa.
