Leonard C Bubb, 54, of Creston died suddenly in the hospital there Thursday after suffering a heart attack. Services were Monday at Creston, the Rev
Glenn A Cadwell of the Christian Church officiating, with burial in Graceland cemetery.
The son of Alonzo and Elsie Einfeldt Bubb, Leonard was born Oct. 30, 1910, on a farm about four miles north of Lenox. He lived in this community until 1940. On Oct. 5, 1942 he was married at Maryville, Mo, to Virginia Oshel. He had lived in Creston since 1942, and was employed by the Hawkeye Lumber company there for the past two years.
He leaves his widow Virginia, six children Richard Bubb of Punxsutawney, Pa.; Mrs Gerald (Sharon) Franklin of Creston; Paul of Long Beach, Cal; Jerry, Danny and Linea at home; also his mother Elsie of West Liberty, five sisters, Mrs Lester (Esther) Hines and Dorothy Bubb, West Liberty; Mrs Paul (Irma) Bramen, Cedar Rapids;
Mrs Ed (Clara), McKinny, St. Louis, Mrs Lola Marble in California; two, brothers, Donald (Doc) Bubb, Lenox and Harland Bubb in California.
